Why This Exists
We started Synthetic or Not because the internet's trust problem is getting worse, and most people don't have time to keep up.
Every day, AI-generated text, images, audio, and video flood the internet. Some of it is harmless. Some of it is designed to deceive. The tools to detect it exist, but they are scattered, inconsistent, and often oversold by the companies that make them.
